Cambrian College Transfer Agreements

For more information on the agreements that are available to all Ontario colleges, please see the Ontario College and College Of Ontario`s Guide to Transfer on OnTransfer „These agreements strengthen the partnership between our two institutions and it is students who benefit from the fact that they have more opportunities to stay in the North for university education. These agreements are the ideal combination of higher education and make students much more valuable to employers. „The opportunity these route programs offer students is extraordinary,” said Asima Vezina, President and Vice-Chancellor of Algoma University. Cambrian College in Sudbury and Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie have signed five new transfer credit contracts that allow Cambrian graduates to obtain a university degree earlier. If you have any questions, please contact Pathways` office at pathways@cambriancollege.ca or complete our online contact form. To ensure that graduates and graduates of higher education have the opportunity to improve their qualifications, Cambrian has signed a series of agreements with universities that improve student mobility between university and university. These agreements formally recognize the credits acquired from each institution and facilitate the transfer of these credits between institutions. In addition to Cambrian College`s articulation agreements with universities across Canada and around the world, Hanson College also has Pathway partnerships with Fairleigh Dickinson University and Canada University West. „This means I have the opportunity to finish my studies near home and create more opportunities for me in Northern Ontario.” The new agreements also provide for a common international recognition provision for students.

International students admitted to Cambrian programs are automatically included in the Algoma program upon completion, provided they meet the defined criteria. The adoption provisions help to ensure a smooth transition between the two institutions through clearly defined channels and processes. There is already a common admissions system for national students. By signing the five new agreements, Cambrian College and Algoma University have signed more than 25 transfer contracts. This will provide students with more ways to pursue post-secondary education in northeastern Ontario. Cambrian College is the largest college in Northern Ontario, with approximately 5,000 full-time and part-time students in more than 80 programs.
